Kina and Venn finished eating in silence the birds singing from the trees outside the window to serenade. The muslin curtains dancing in the window being carressed by the wind. Kina stood up and put the now empty tray on the bed beside Venn leaning slightly over him. She took in his scent of trees and leaves. The sent of the forest seemed to invade the air around him. Pulling herself back she smiled at Venn. "Ready to go?" She asked. He nodded slightly his blonde hair shaking in the breeze catching the sunlight. He stood and his body quickly took up the space between Kina and the bed. She blushed and made to move aside so he could move as well but her foot got caught on the leg of her chair and she fell forward into Venn's arms. He caught her and held her briefly. She pulled back slightly after she regained her balance and looked into Venn's blue eyes. She felt lost in his eyes as he gazed back at her still holding her in his arms. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she looked as his sharp features and felt his body pressed against hers. Her breathing became more rapid as she longed the touch of his lips on hers. She moved upwards and closer to him bringing her face closer keeping her eyes on his. Those deep intense blue eyes staring back into her as if they were staring down into her soul.

OOC: What the hell, 78!? Our characters were kind in the middle of some RP. You can't just leave the situation, you have to notify me of something IC so that I know you're leaving, or stay there. I know someone was supposed to come in and make the situation awkward, but we were wating on a post from Makaru. You kind of screwed up the balance of things. We baout had it worked out from the other screw up, which was multiple characters' fault, mine including. I'm not blaming the whole thing on you, but if you read the posts in order, you totally skip something vtial to the story. If you look at it, you ask me a question in one post, and then you leave. -=}N{=-

I'm sorry that I have tests to pass and jobs to attend. I'll try to keep my selfish endevors off of your time. ******************** Venn stood up slowly and headed to the door. As he did, he saw Kinn trip and fall to his direction. He instinctively put his arms out and caught her. He felt her withdraw slightly, but stopped. She looked into his eyes, looking for a connection. Her heart rate increased and her face flushed with blood. Venn remained the same. He looked into her curiously. Her breathing increased the longer he looked to her. She looked like she was trying to say something, but the words would not come. He put a finger to her lips, silencing her quiet debate. "Shh now. We have people waiting for us downstairs," he released her and caressed a strand of hair cunningly. Just then, Dimitri burst through the door. He spoke to them hurriedly. He wanted to leave before it clouded over. Which made sense. Venn did not like the rain, anyway. As Dimitri exited, Venn took Kina by the hand and led her to the door. "We best not keep them waiting."

Kina had to admit she was disappointed that they hadn't kissed but Venn seemed to have a way about him that no matter what happened Kina's heart would swell with the touching romanticism that Venn conveyed. When he carressed her hair gently her heart seemed to race... to pound in her chest. But her moment with Venn was ruined shortly when Dimitri had come bursting in the room in a hurry to leave. She too was ready to leave to see the mystical Emerald Forest and to leave the inn. Venn grabbed her hand and she followed him out and back down the hall to the common room where Dimitri was waiting for them. "Do we need to gather supplies or anything for our journey?" Kina asked with a smile on her face still holding on to Venn's hand feeling the rough callouses and the soft skin between against the smooth skin of her own hand. She was painfully aware of his presence next to her, his scent, the scent of the forest a scent she could not get enough of. "How long will it take us to get there?" She looked at Dimitri and at Venn waiting for one to answer, both had been there before and she assumed they would know. She had to admit she was excited to go and to go with Venn and her new companions.

OOC: Do you guys mind if I join?

Makaru- 04-30-2006

If you make your avatar a little less humongous, I don't see why not. Since this is sitboy!'s RPG, I advise you PM her for more details.

KakyoTheWolfDemon- 04-30-2006

OOC: Ok, sorry about that.... I usely RP on MSN groups so I'm not used to here. Thanks! Oh yeah, in 11 days (Next Thursday) I'm going to Japan for two weeks, and so when I'm gone can someone take over my character till I get back?

Fumetsu- 04-30-2006

OOC: Eh, I dunno. When you RP and then stop, it ruins the balance, even when someone else RPs for you. It's not the same whe nyou have 2 people RPing the same character. If you can pull it off, go ahead. But it's best to wait for when you get back. Like Makaru said, it's all Sitboy's choice. -=}N{=-

~One minute, Nagiken was talking to Dimitri. Nagiken felt a sudden urge to keep talking, like Dimitri's essence was there, but he was gone. In the corners of his mind, Nagiken kept thinking he was there. Where could he have gone...? A drop came from the sky, and under a tree was not the place to be when a storm came. Side-stepping, Nagiken heard noises from out of the window, upstairs. A thud, a door, and voices. It was the girl, and... Dimitri! So he thought. He did not recognize Dimitri's voice, but Venn's voice he did recognize. The noise kind of stopped, and then grew again, hearing their foot steps come down the stairs. Nagiken wondered why this was the only thing he could hear. The ominous portents outside came to mind. He felt quite embarrassed that he had to show his face again after the memory... He hid. Not the best place to hide, but he hid. The river bank was deep enough to where he could stand right by it and they wouldn't see him. It was close to the inn, too, but which was convenient so that he could wait for the right time to silently follow, or join them aloud. He silently leaped and tumbled down, landing on his feet. He peered up, seeing them just barely at the door, when a man spoke to him. The voice was grey, and soft, almost relaxing. It was an old man. "Hiding...? Oh, that's quite an instrument, there." The old man was commenting about Nagiken's hagiku. Then, he pulled out his own, which was about the same size. The old man began to play, and Nagiken stopped him. "Please, sir, your music is beautiful, but I am trying to work up courage to confront a few people. If they find me–." "Nonsense... this is my house..." He pointed to a hut across the bridge only a few feet away. "Hide there..." Looking across, the others might see him as he crossed the plain. He didn't dare go. Nagiken went to confront the others on his own. "Thank you, sir, but I..." And then just realized that this man taught him courage. Nagiken would have kept hiding if it weren't for this man and the way he played his music. "Thank you..." Nagiken climbed out of the river bank and stepped onto the giant arc bridge with the big railings; four feet, maybe. He took his hagiku strapped to his back and set it up against the railing, leaning his back there, as well. Staring down, he took one glance at the door. They were still in their same positions. It was like suspense to him. First he wanted to go back down and hide, but them remained dormant. Because of the lesson the man taught him, and because of the sinister rebirth of Nagiken's "no fear" thinking. Not only would he confront them, but he wouldn't pull a stunt like back in the inn. But he would be sad, and his music would sing the souls he had lost.~

Makaru- 05-02-2006

Venn went over the list in his mind. Food? Check. Sewing supplies? Check. First aid kits? Check. He made sure everything was ready for the trip ahead down to the finest detail. He felt something in the back of his mind earlier. About the time he left the room. A certain presence watching him. But it was gone before he could make sense of it. It was no matter of importance to him. He gave the inkeeper who graciously rounded up these things a extra large tip and walked out the door to meet Kina and Dimitri. "Shall we get going?"

~Dimitri grabs umbrellas~ We cant leave with out these can we? Its going to start pouring soon. Well lets go weve wasted enough time here and it wont take us long maybe a week at most, but... ~Dimitri opens the inn door~ Ahh! So sorry i left you but i had to check on these guys, they were taking quite a while. So are we all ready to go? ~puts umbrealls in backpack and looks at sky~ O and what is your name? ~sees a difference in Nagiken's eyes and smiles~ ~to self~ This will be the most interesting journey there ever will be.

Kina couldn't help herself she was excited; excited to leave, excited to journey and excited to see the Emerald Forest. She watched as everyone got the supplies and necessities ready for thier journey Kina had no idea what they would need for such a journey she couldn't remember ever going anywhere. But she would not become a burden she refused to let that happen. She saw a pack with some of their provisions and figured she would be able to carry that bag. Picking up the rough canvas bag she slung it up on her back. While the others were chosing their packs and getting everything organized Kina looked off into the East where the black clouds loomed darkly over the Emerald Forest. The path they would take began heading South into a sparse forest and then later would turn to the East. "Would you like some horses for your journey, good sir?" The innkeeper directed at Venn. Kina turned her attention back to the group at the innkeepers deep voice. "Fresh air and excerise is good for you. Keeps you limber." Venn replied with a smile. Kina couldn't help but giggle. "Fair enough." The innkeeper replied and ducked back into the inn. It took only a few minutes more and it looked as though everyone was ready. Together they set off towards the path heading South to begin the journey to the Emerald Forest. Kina stuck close to Venn she felt safe with these guys these companions. A feeling she hadn't felt in a very long time.

~rain began to rall~ Dimitri handed each of them an umbrella. "Dont want any of you to get sick now". Dimitri smiled as the rain fell on his head and he walked on, Dimitri was in an unusually happy mood he could sense every little thing that ws going on even the approaching darkness. Dimitri wasnt using an umbrella because he liked the feel of the rain cleansing everything around. Dimitri suddenly heard a some rustling in the bushes but ignored it for he thought it was a simple small forest creature trying to take shealter from the rain and lightning. Dimitri spotted a tea house ahead of them. "Do we want to stop? We have been walking for a couple hours now and get out of the rain for a little bit." As they approached the tea house he waited for an answer when all of a sudden lightning struck Dimitri and he fell to the ground.
