A small note was pinned to the tree nearby the well. It looked like it was written with one of Shippo's crayons. It read: Dear Inuyasha and Kagome, Sango has gone to visit her old village. Inuyasha walked out of the hut, his hand still on Tetsusaiga. He saw two scruffy looking men outside. One of them had a long sword drawn at Inuyasha. He looked at it and scoffed. "Yeah? And what do you want?"

Kagome saw the walls of the wooden hut ingnite and the small room was filled with smoke almost immediatley. Kagome grabbed her bow and arrow racing out the doorway. Outside she saw two men looking at Inuyasha and they looked like they were ready to fight. The man with the long sword slashed at Inuyasha. "Inuyasha!" Kagome screamed.
