Something to try to get to know members better XD I currently have a new hobby.. thats collecting figurines from animes.. so far I think I have like 10.. what are some of your hobbies?

I have a lot of hobbies my biggest one is quilting. I have been a quilter for a few years now and my next quilt is going to be a Inuyasha quilt I will post a picture when it's done it will probably take me a couple months for this one because of all the sewing I'll have to do for the individual characters. I also scrapbook and that and sewing are expensive hobbies :( many times I have to pick just one :(. I also watch a lot of anime. Any anime I can get my hands on I watch, I just love anime and the japanese culture as well. I also read A LOT this year I tried to beat how many books I had read and I that was only thirty. This year I have read 112 books so far and it's not yet the end. If anyone is looking for good sci fi or fantasy books I can totally reccomend some. I also write. Currently I am in the middle of writing my own fantasy novel but I'm stuck at a crucial point and am brainstorming my way out of it. I collect the expensive collector barbies and have those on display I have about thirty and am waiting for the japanese maiko barbie to come out next year I'm really excited I saw a preview and it's beautiful. I also like to play games on my PS2, I mostly like RPG's and action RPG's. I think that is all my current hobbies, I'm currently working on a quilt for my mother and am reading my 113th book. Hopeing to get back to writing again soon once I map out all my next moves and points. I can't wait to hear all of your hobbies as well. :)

I write, I love writing. XD I'm writing a story right now and I'm hoping to get it finished in a week or two. My friends and I are planning to open up a website just for our writings and artwork and such. ^^ Does sticking to the computer 24/7 count as a hobby? XD Haha. I collect mangas. :3 *is desperately trying to seem like she has a lot more hobbies* Anything anime-related. I love taking pictures. ^^ Cameras are your friends. =DDD I collect poems and quotes that I find on the internet. XD I don't have a lot but around 40 - 50 pages of quotes on word. Planning to write them all in a notebook but it hasn't really happened. ^^;; I think that's about it. *feels hobby-less* OHH! You can do quilting sitboy! ?! Can't wait to see the finish product. *anticipating yet* OH, YOU MUST GIVE ME SCRAPBOOKING TECHNIQUES! XD Haha Or advice! Scrapbooking is very expensive, especially if you want to go buy the little accessories that make it all pretty that you can't make yourself. But they are so pretty though. T-T

My hobby is Tae Kwon Do. I think I may have mentioned this in my introductory post. I am a black belt, and I have been studying for eight years now, give or take a few days. I also like watching anime and tokusatsu. I'm just starting to get into that second one, but those Japanese fighting shows have really had a big impact on me, and the U.S. as a whole. Power Rangers footage is taken from tokusatsu, and the Beetle Borgs were, and Kamen Rider and all those other things were/are tokusatsu also. Hmm. I think I'm missing something. Oh yes, I like collecting the Bionicle figures, and the Bionicle comics that come with LEGO Magazine. I should really start buying the books, as well. And the second and third movies. A lot of people know things that I don't, it can get confusing. Also, I do some drawing. I've got a good pic of Inuyasha that was almost ready to ink, but I couldn't get his right eye correct, and I erased and redrew it so many times I erased a hole in the paper :( . I'm still thinking of ways to rectify that. I've just started a new picture. I'm planning on making it Ed Elric. And then there's my musical prowess. Being good on an often overlooked instrument has its pros and cons, I gotta say. After all, how many of you have heard of the viola? I'm third chair out of 10 or 11 in my high school's Chamber Orchestra. That's the highest of the four levels offered. I also just made it through the district All State Orchestra auditions. That means I'm going to the final auditions in January. If I make it through those, I'm in the All State Orchestra. That's all I can think of. Unless drinking Coke counts as a hobby :D . Drago

Yes I quilt, and love every minute of it. I have gotten pictures off the internet from the show to use in the Inuyasha quilt and I can't wait to get started. I have to go buy the fabric and things there is a lot of fabric to buy and all the colors need to be just right, but I'm so excited I know it will quickly become my favorite quilt. I have made about 20 quilts so far since I really got started but this I know will be the best. I wouldn't mind sharing any of my scrapbooking ideas with you Amy if you would like, mainly I use A LOT of stickers and rub on transfers. I use all kinds of paper and things collected from the event I am putting in the book. It's fun and I love being able to look through the book and remember all the fun I had that day. Drago, wow black belt, that's really cool!! My brother has a brown belt in Ju Jitsu (sp?) but he had to quit because his dojo went bad and he can't find another that will let him start at anything but a white belt and earn his way back up, and he really doesn't want to do that considering all the time he spent getting to where he is. I really don't have any hobbies that are anime related I just watch and collect the best ones. I do collect Inuyasha stuff but that's basically because I just can't get enough of the show. And writing is something I love as well. I am writing my own novel and in my last post I said I was trying to get out of a writers block well no more, that night I started writing again, and now it's just flowing from my fingers into my laptop. Can't wait to see it finished :)

I write poems and short stories in my spare time. Right now I am attempting to write a story with chapters and stuff. I'm pretty good at drawing so I'm also drawing pictures to go along with my story. I also collect random things having to do with the violin. Examples are violin key chains, posters, and violin CDs.

Lots of hobbies. I collect Legend of the Five Rings cards, Warlord cards, Anachronism cards, koku from Legend of the Five Rings, and Ziming Dao cards. I have comics, but I don't collect them, or buy anymore than I have. I am a red belt in sombo, red belt in kung fu, and a black belt in jujitsu. I like to play roleplaying games. Table-top ones sometimes, but maily MMORPG computer games, and PS2 games (FF series, Star Ocean, etc). I like anime and manga, no doubt. Sword collecting is one of my favorites. I have a few from Germany and France, one from England, a guan dao from China, a 3 different sized daos from China, a Mongolian scimitar, a naginata, a two yaris, a few racks of katanas, just as many wakizashis, a drawer full of tantos, 6 no-dachis, a 3 dotanukis, 2 jittes, and a shuriken or two. I've a few sets of armor, only 2 of them are actually real from the sengouku. Hm... did I forget anything? -=}N{=-

I'll keep it short and simple... I'm a card collecter,a percusionist(drummer), artist, writer, and gamer. I'm working on two stories and on 5 drawings i got my hands full... -.-'

Oh, yeah, I might want to mention that I do a hell of a lot of writing and some drawing. Lots of stories, lots of poems. PM me and I might be able to type up a few. -=}N{=-
